Veolia Water is doing its best to help local authorities in the Middle East to face the emerging needs due to rapid growth and new business models. The region opens itself to new types of contrats, especially in the field of water : drinking water, wastewater sanitation, seawater desalination and operational consulting.
After more than two years of intense business developments and with the prospect of a growth in demand of all kinds, Veolia Water AMI (Africa, Middle East and Indian sub continent)decided to establish the company in Abu dhabi. This is to translate the strategy into an operational way on a long term basis.
Since 2006, Veolia water has secured several important contracts regarding its business fields: water desalination in Bahrain, in Marafiq (Saoudi Arabia), in Qidfa (Fujairah) and in Sur (Oman); wastewater treatment in Ajman, Mascate (Oman) and Palm Jumeirah Island.
