Training policy

Professional training is a priority for Veolia Water and falls within the remit of Campus Veolia Environnement.

 

Training is multi-faceted and includes:

  • initial training of young apprentices ;
  • integrating new teams at the start of new contracts ;
  • the development of existing skills or the acquisition of new ones to meet new technological developments ;
  • broadening the skill base of employees to deal with new responsibilities or to facilitate mobility...
  • Training tools

    Each year, employees from Veolia Water clock up more than a million hours of training.

    Veolia Water deploys a wide range of tools to meet its training requirements:

    • Training centers co-ordinated by Veolia Environnement in France, Germany, Gabon, Czech Republic, Morocco as part of the Group's training policy ;

    • Test facilities (laboratories, treatment plants), training centers, educational software, CR DOM, computerized simulators (SIMBA® SIMBAZD® PROGRES®), training packs (FORMADEUS, health and safety, water analysis, etc.).

    • In marketing, sales, customer relations, innovative and imaginative initiatives are relayed back to those on the ground by appropriate training modules, in partnership with Campus Veolia Environnement.

    Promoting expertise

    Each year Veolia Water organizes the "Journées Métier" to facilitate the sharing of skills.

    It enables those in charge of technical, operational and business departments to find out about the latest innovations in technology and in the industry as well as to share experiences and expertise.

    Under the aegis of Campus Veolia Environnement and to provide the opportunity to train locally, Veolia Water has training centers, close to its employees, located throughout the world:

    • Germany : Berlin, KompetenzZentrum Wasser Berlin
    • China : Shanghai, Espace Veolia Environnement
    • France : Campus Veolia Environnement in Jouy le Moutier and Romorantin
    • Gabon : Libreville, Centre des métiers Jean Violas
    • Morocco : Rabat, Campus Veolia Morocco
    • Czech Republic: Institute for Environmental Services
    • Marketing School for the water sector where employees are able to improve their skills in order to better assist our customers whether they be public authorities, industrial customers or end users
